A day in the life / Self portrait project in Park Slope, Brooklyn

A while ago, I read a great blog article about documenting an entire day of your life while making sure to be in every single picture you take on that day. The idea seemed very interesting while at the same time quite challenging. This is why I decided to give it a try. During an entire day, I tried to document some of our special moments. These pictures are far from being perfect: it is hard to capture candid moments when you have to set up a tripod and press a remote control but I have tried my best to try to tell the story of our everyday life the way it is.

Our day usually starts with some morning fun on the bed, before or after breakfast. Here is how we get dressed, with lots of acrobatics :)

On that day, we went to Prospect Park Free Forest School, which is an awesome program that organizes get-togethers for parents who want to promote nature exploration in their children's education.

Someone almost feel asleep on the way back. In our neighborhood, we park our strollers on the street (just in front of our building).

After lunch and a nap, comes snack time. It's a very sweet time of the day. We take it easy before we head out again to enjoy Prospect Park in the evening. Sometimes, when we are lucky, Dad joins us after work.

Our days go so fast. Before we know it, it is dinner time.

I truly had the help of an assistant throughout the entire day. Here is a "behind-the-scene" shot to prove it!
