Around Our Clocks: 9am in March

Just like that, another month went by! When I was a child, I would hear my Mom and Dad saying how fast time had been going since they had become parents. I always thought that they were simply nostalgic about the past and worried they would get old faster than they wanted. Now that I am also a Mom I can see how time suddenly started accelerating. Of course, I am also aware this is just a trick my mind is playing on me, time has always been the same.

This is why I am so grateful for this project! With a group of documentary photographers, we capture our months, one hour at a time throughout the course of a year. Here is what our mornings looked like in March between 9am and 10am.

Our own mornings here in Brooklyn are made of simple moments. A walk in Prospect Park on our way to Free Forest School  (our favorite thing to do during the week). A coffee with foamed milk prepared with love by a little sleepy-head and some dance moves with Daddy on the weekend.
